Refund

If you purchased aText recently via Mac App Store, please request refund from Apple.

Migrate your Mac App Store license

If you purchased aText on Mac App Store, you can switch to non-MAS (non sandboxed) version for free.

Please do not purchase aText from Mac App Store for migrating to non-MAS version.
Many users were unable to reproduce the process, and the Mac App Store version may be removed anytime by Apple.
No support is provided for migrating fail.

  • Step 1 - Download aText from Mac App Store, open it once, quit it, and keep it.
  • Step 2 - Download and launch aText from this website.
  • Step 3 - If the Trial screen shows up, choose your Mac App Store version to migrate license. If there is no Trial screen, your MAS license is successfully migrated.

Your data will be transferred automatically.

What if you can not find aText in "Purchased" list

Since 2015, in aText app description on Mac App Store, at two first lines, there had always been these below statements:

  1. Not working on latest macOS. Do not purchase.
  2. Existing customers please visit aText's web page for instruction to switch to non-sandboxed working version for free.

Those statements mean that:

  1. You were at your own risk purchasing aText on Mac App Store since 2015.
  2. We had provided support for users who purchased aText on Mac App Store in 2012 - 2015 for at least 3.5 years, so that they can migrate aText to non Mac App Store version with unlimited updates.

If you can not re-download aText from Mac App Store and you want to continue to use aText, please purchase aText from aText's store.

Thank you for your understanding.
